Wyresdale Park Barn Weddings in Lancashire Rustic rural glamour, a day out with the kids, stunning walks and breathtaking scenery, at the foot of Nicky Nook Fell in the heart of the forest of Bowland, Lancashire. Home of the Applestore Cafe, with wedding barns, artist studios and lakeside glamping.

Wyresdale Park Country Estate A former farm and Victorian estate, nestled between woodland, fells and lakes, with a cafe, artist studios and glamping all happily intermingling. Our popular cafe, open Wednesday- Sunday 9.30am- 4pm, is located in the shelter of the walled garden and surrounded by tulip trees, magnolias and ginko. The daily menu consists of hearty soups, sandwiches, delicious cakes, scones, salads and full english breakfasts.

Wyresdale Park sits on the western slopes of the Forest of Bowland, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, with varied habitats and far reaching views, from the tip of Wales across to the Isle of Man and the top of the Cumbrian Fells. The beautiful and historic city of Lancaster is only 9 miles away, with a busy pedestrianised shopping centre of cobbled streets, a number of lovely waterside pubs, including the Water Witch, a theatre The Lancaster Grand, a roving theatre The Dukes and Williamson Park.

The Lake District has a busy arts program, as well as stunning scenery and charming villages, and Kendal, home to the Brewery Arts Centre and is only 30 miles away. Manchester can be reached in an hour by train from Lancaster.
