Open Studio Helen Mould, owner of www.peterborougharthouse.com is opening her artist studio July 18th and 19th 2009 and other days on request. I have been painting some cracking abstracts lately and you can see them when you check the website. The Open Studio got off to a slow start and it would be nice to see a bigger footfall. This week I collected painting that I had been exhibting in the Botolph Green Community Health Centre. They were very pleased to have had the paintings on display there and said it gives the patients something else to dwell upon besides their health issues. The Centre bought a powerful, larger triptych, Robin Hood and Little John, inspired by the local alndscape at Ferry Meadows to have as a permanent reminder and aid patients comfort. A doctor at the Centre also bought an abstract painting.
