About Us
The Patten Arms was built in the l9th century circa 1860 by Lord Winmarleigh, formolly known as the Fat Scot, it
was later renamed the Patten Arms after the family name of Lord Winmarleigh. Ian and Jackie took over The Patten Arms in 2001 and were quick to put their own stomp on the pub. The Patten Arms is a traditional English country pub which has built its success over the years on four simple key values, good beer, good food, good people and friendly service, there is always a warm welcome for anybody walking through the door.
Real Ales We have 2 regular Bitters, Tetley's Cask and Jennings Cumberland ale, we also have 2 guest beers - we like to take advantoge of the fact we are a freehouse and try out a variety of beers not only from local breweries but from all over the UK. Our real fire offers the perfect backdrop whilst savouring our real ales during the winter months.
