Stress Check Training Ltd......... .........is solely dedicated to helping individuals recognise, respond to and resolve the effects of stress in their everyday lives. We operate a team of professional trainers across the UK who are there to work with employers who want to minimise the burden stress places on their organisation and staff.


In a survey conducted by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) during 2005/6 they concluded that work related stress, depression and anxiety cost Great Britain in excess of £530 million. The number of workers who had sought medical advice for what they believed to be work related stress increased by 110,000 to an estimated 530,000.


We want to help these people help themselves by recognising the effect and importance of stress, respond appropriately and try to resolve their stress using simple, practical techniques.

Practical Stress Awareness Practical Stress Awareness is an introduction to stress in all areas of our daily lives, how it affects us and how to deal with it. We firmly believe that being aware of what makes us and others stressed is the basis to successful stress management. It is a one day course which includes explanations, group discussions, exercises and practical work. The course will clarify what stress actually is and the harm it can do. Then we will use practical exercises to identify the delegates' own stressors and their cumulative effect. We will also look at short and long term stress and how the delegates' own behaviour in certain situations can actually help reduce the stress levels in themselves and others. Once delegates have this foundation of understanding, we move into teaching practical management techniques and useful tips that have been proven to help reduce the effects of stress.

Managing Employee Stress Managing Employee Stress is an introduction to stress in all areas of our daily lives, how it affects us and how to deal with it. As well as benefiting themselves as individuals, the course will help managers to recognise the symptoms of stress in their team members, respond appropriately and build ways to help resolve stress. We firmly believe that being aware of what makes us and others stressed is the basis to successful stress management.
