Founded in 1906 by Frederick Smith who opened a small second hand furniture shop in the town. The business thrived and continued to expand and in 1935 the former roller skating rink in Dragon Road, Harrogate, proved the basis of the business as it is known today.

Our large 30,000 sq foot, fifth generation, family run store, plays host to a truly diverse range of fine furniture, stylish handmade upholstery, luxury beds, and quality carpets, all beautifully displayed alongside carefully selected pre owned reproduction furniture.

Famous throughout the region we take a genuine pride in our profession and quality concerns. Customer care and meticulous attention to detail are the key characteristics which have made the company a corporate survivor and a thriving success.
